Safari Play Sand is ideal for Children's sand pits and play activities. It is available in six colours, each assigned to an animal of similar colour to help stimulate the imagination. Suitable for children aged from 18 months.

Is it safe?
Safari play sand has been thoroughly tested at each stage of the manufacturing process to ensure it meets the BS EN71-part 3: 1995 Including A1:2000 standard, 'Migration of certain elements' The base sand used to create the coloured Safari Range contains no Tremolite. The particle sizing of the sand has been carefully screened and graded. The product has been tested in accordance with BS EN 1177:1998, 'Impact absorbing playground surfacing'.
Is this an environmentally friendly product?
Yes, the colouring technique used is based on organic dyes to provide a safe, non-toxic and environmentally friendly product. It is also colour fast and non-staining and complies to BS EN71-part 3: 1995 Including A1:2000 standard.
Why the mottled appearance? Whilst all efforts are made to ensure continuity of colour, very small variations do occur.
